Dear Family Egger,
We would like to report back to you (from a cold Germany).
We were / are delighted of your lodge, of the ranch, of your team and of the very amicable communications before our arrival and we wanted to let you know about that.
Two lovely days at Wabi Lodge
We spent two lovely days at Wabi Lodge and we virtually fell in love with Wabi Game Ranch. We would have loved to stay much longer at this unique place.
For us it is really a very special spot, which will be remembered. We have previously visited special, beautiful and even “magic” places in Namibia and I have frequently been to Australia and other countries.
But the Ranch has left a deep impression and fascination and appeared magical to us. Apart from the impressive landscape and your team we felt that this lodge is run and maintained with lots of love and passion.
We would once more thank you and your team for everything.
We have experienced all your employees as positive, motivated and friendly. Particularly Josef, who guided us on our two excursions, left a very positive impression. After four years, he knows the country like the back of his hand and we were able to see a rhino and many other animals on our Hippo-Sundowner tour. In our opinion he is a very valuable employee. The sundowner on top of the plateau was something very special to us and a beautiful highlight of our holiday. On the morning before our departure we spent another hour in your tropical garden and listened to the sounds of the birds. We did not want to leave.
We of course hope that are just as well on the other side of Namibia as you are on Wabi and we also hope that we will be able to visit you again at Wabi in the not too distant future.
Also, the arrival at Wabi worked out well. Although it rained on that day, our Duster managed to pull us through the muddy and sandy bits.
Once more we thank you for your helpful hints and you friendly emails before our arrival, for your beautiful Lodge and please also forward this to your team and send Josef our regards.
All the best to you and many thanks again and warm regards,
Christine Emde and Marc Schulze
